Brian Bieschke

Education

I am currently a College Student attending MCC (McHenry County College): Majoring in Digital Media; with focus in Photography & Graphics. I've been around a camera, and digital tools for about 6 years now.

In my Photography; I tend to go for heavy contrast in images, and strive to evoke a mysterious vibe; allowing the viewer to "solve" the photograph. In terms of genre; I lean toward nature and Industrial photography, though recently I've been exploring Portraits.

I've worked briefly with video production; creating and editing my own short film "Shades of Gray". I also helped organize and produce a short in-class ad video.

I can animate in flash, and create some basic apps. Though I mainly focus on the visual aspects, rather then the programming.

Achievements

I've been featured in two College Art shows (07'-08'), Earning a generous scholarship in the second. Some of my work has also been Published in "Voices"; an award winning College Literary Magazine (07' & 09').

Skills

I have been using Adobe products for 5 years, with focus in Photoshop, Flash, and Premiere. I also have basic knowledge of Soundbooth, Illustrator, and InDesign. I've also worked with Microsoft Office products, and various OSX Applications; in both Mac and PC environments. I have skills with a camera; film, digital, or video. I can also develop & print non-C41 process films.
